city boundaries

Going out of the city boundaries is sometimes what I need. Obviously by bike. You and a friend that this time has brought a golden invitation for you. When we arrive in the nearest town we just stop for a bit and then we head off.
We usually stay in a meadow looking at the river, or meeting some cows that look like big stones.

making cakes

I've loved this cake since the first time I heard its name. Lemon-meringue. It's a pie, actually. It isn't one of the simplest to make, but it's not that hard. The only problem comes out with the meringue, cause it depends on how you prefer it. If you bake this pie for too long, maybe it could turn into stone, but it's a good advice to bake it till the meringue has partially formed. Obviously the inner part of the meringue will remain quite foamy.

at my auntie's house

The house of my auntie. I like to think about it as a showroom. It’s full of stones and woods and plants. And her kitchen full of sweet fragrances.

We’re cooking together for a guest tonight. Melanzane grigliate (is one of my favourite dishes) consists of aubergines sliced up and grilled in a frypan with olive oil. Once they cool off you can season them with fresh chopped persil, oregano and other oil if you like to preserve this nosh for a long time.

A mix of ceramics and plants in every corner, inside and in the penthouse.

Outside the night is coming and soon it will be finally time to dine!
